Important YL update!

Over and over again, I continue to be so proud of Young Living and everything they stand for! It is often said, that true integrity can only be known when it's tested. #theyblowmeaway #everytime

Y'all, what company do you know that would invest millions of dollars to correct something they discovered themselves, bring it up to rightful authorities and walk out the necessary steps to make it right?! #walkingthetalk

It's like a batter in a baseball game telling the umpire that the last ball called was actually a strike! #whodoesthat

Well, if we don't already know that Young Living stands on their integrity, this will blow you away!

I am so thankful our company walks their talk sees an issue and resolves it no matter what the cost! #dowhatsright #initforlonghaul #longtermvision #missionovermoney #visionfornextgeneration

Of course, other companies are going to spin this, they always do. #truthwins #propoganda #marketingtactics #showstheirtruecolors #spindoctors

So, what happened? (read full info below): YL found an issue when the new management team took over in 2014. They self-disclosed it and spent millions of dollars internally to make sure that this never happens again! This is the right thing to do.

Some of you may have wondered why the Seed To Seal adjustments were made this summer to include STANDARDS and SUSTAINABILITY in the list when these things were already "understood" in the old bullet points. You guys - this is why!

We are literally WORLD-leaders when it comes to chasing sustainability. Other companies still sell Rosewood and Spikenard even though there is ZERO available in a sustainable method and it's not legal.

If you have ever heard Gary Young speak, you know, if it can't be sustained the right way, we will NOT harvest it.

Here is the company's statement:

(You can share this statement with your downlines and direct them to the Seed to Seal page on YoungLiving.com.):

Because of Young Living's commitment to their rigorous sourcing standards to uphold the most stringent standards as responsible stewards of the earth, we can be confident Young Living is continually positioning themselves to be comply to the guidelines which are set forth.

From Young Living:

We are always in a state of continuous improvement, constantly examining and improving our processes as the company grows so we avoid future mistakes and adhere to the high standards we’ve set across the entire organization.

In late 2014, our new management team became aware of a situation that was identified by our compliance program in place at the time. We immediately conducted our own investigation with assistance from outside counsel, and voluntarily disclosed to the government in 2015 once this investigation was completed.
“As part of Young Living’s commitment to comply with applicable laws and regulations wherever it does business, the company has developed a new comprehensive Lacey Act Compliance Program to help ensure that plant products come from legal and sustainable sources. YOUNG LIVING IS THE FIRST AND ONLY essential oils company to have a comprehensive Lacey Act-specific compliance program that has been reviewed and accepted by the government.
Young Living understands that it has a greater responsibility to help ensure quality and continuous improvement in leading the essential oils movement. As part of this responsibility, new programs have been developed that form the foundation of our new Seed to Seal pillars – Sourcing, Science and Standards.
