About Me

Hello!  My name is Tiffany Rockhold. My home is a beautiful, historic little town just outside of Nashville, TN called Franklin. I’m originally from New Mexico and have been in Tennessee for almost 10 years. My main jobs consist of being a manager of Christian music artists, Communications Director for Awaken Church, day-of wedding coordinator in my “spare time”, and a consultant for various companies in the music industry. My favorite role is being Aunt Tiffy to my nieces and nephew. My most important relationship is my relationship with Jesus. I LOVE people - especially those closest to me - and I truly love helping them (ESFJ right here for all you Myers-Briggs people!). Life is non-stop, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. 

Why oils? Well, they’ve changed my life. My health history is complex. I was born with a hole in my lung and the health difficulties never stopped. When I was 7, I was diagnosed with Psoriatic Arthritis. In elementary school at some point, Asthma came into the picture. When I was 20, I was one of the 10% of those with Psoriasis to get Psoriatic Arthritis. Mine came in the form of my right hip. It had been misdiagnosed for two years, which meant it was mistreated for two years as the cartilage in my right hip continued to disintegrate. Hip Resurfacing (similar to a Hip Replacement, but, the Femur Bone isn’t cut off as it is with a Hip Replacement) surgery happened when I was 24. Relief came, but then ended not long after. I continued to have pain and we couldn’t figure out why. I tried EVERYTHING. Believe me, when you have a chronic disease, you try everything and you learn everything possible about your disease.

The one thing I never thought would happen, happened. In the Summer of 2014, my left leg decided it wanted to match the right leg, so, I know had Psoriatic Arthritis in my left leg. With that diagnosis, I found out the metal implant in my right hip had fallen off in my right hip and was cutting into my femur bone. No wonder my poor right leg had been in such pain. So, I was faced with the decision of having surgery on BOTH of my hips at the same time, at 33 years old. Due to insurance issues, I pushed the surgery off as long as possible until I was literally forced to. During December 2014, I had a spasm while in the bathtub late one night. Because of the intense pain, I was barely able to crawl out of the bathtub, then ended up stuck on all fours for two hours, waiting/crying for help. The pain was so intense. It feels like someone is stabbing your leg over and over with no relief. Any movement I made felt like another stab. I couldn’t move without screaming in pain. At this point in my life, I was pretty used to pain, but this one hit the iceberg and I was done. Imagine being naked on the floor, completely helpless, unable to move, hysterically crying, yet praying for God to do something or to take you home to heaven immediately. That was the worst two hours of my life. To make a long story short, I ended up having to have emergency double hip replacement surgery on December 23, 2014. My poor family - Christmas was incredibly different but they ran with it and God used it in incredible ways. 

About a year before surgery, I’d started researching oils. I knew a few people who were using oils and I ended up at a friend’s oil event one night where I heard an incredible story of how oils completely changed a families life. I also learned about all of the times oils are talked about in the Bible and their significant presence throughout. As I studied I began to see that Young Living oils were the only oils to use and I began incorporating them into my life. Fast forward to now and I have not been on any long-term medications for over two years. I grew up being on medications from pills to creams to weekly shots. I use all Young Living body care, soaps, laundry detergent, etc. I haven’t purchased any over-the-counter medications. I’ve seen how this impacts my life in such an incredible way. My life has been changed for the better because of Young Living oils and I want people to live this life of healthy freedom and to not be chained by the medications that we’ve grown up so used to going to for the everyday health issues.
